✦ Synopsis
Inorganic salts have been used for the high-speed gas chromatographic separation of mixtures of aromatic compounds and sulphur-containing hydrocarbons. The adsorbents used were prepared on the basis of structurally different chlorides of bivalent metals (NiC12, CoCl, and BaCl,). An independent method has been developed in order to evaluate the uniformity of the salt crystals. The salts were studied in the pure form and also dispersed on the surface of Silochrom.
