A chromatographic absorbent is described for the column separation of aminoacyl-tRNAs, which combines high resolution with high sensitivity and simplicity. Without using high pressures, 5-1500 pg of tRNA can be fractionated in 60 min. The system is called RPC-LH because it utilizes LH-Sephadex coated with Adogen 464.
