Ryunosuke AKUTAGAWA (March 1, 1892 - July 24, 1927) is one of the most famous and excellent author in Japanese literature of all times. Ryunosuke was active in early 20th century during Taisho era. He is regarded as the ""Father of the Japanese short story"", and is well noted for his distinguished style of writing and finely detailed stories enriched with parables and anecdotes, which were often based on Japanese classic literature, in pursuit of expressing and questioning the deep nature inside human being."
