✦ Synopsis

Abstract

A semimicro‐method for determining nitrogen in sewage sludges is described avoiding the use of a micro‐balance or a micro‐burette. The whole estimation can be completed in just over one hour. Good agreement is shown between results obtained by this method and by the older Kjeldahl method.
