The notions of n-ary set and min/max value (a generalization of total/partial and into/onto mapping) are defined for conceptual modeling for the design of a natural language interface. SET-Association diagrams (a generalization of Entity Relationship diagrams) are used to formalize the intuitive notion of semantic relatedness.
