Structural studies have been carried out in large size superconducting single crystals of Bi 2 Sr 2 CaCu 2 O 8รพx grown by self-flux method. Surface morphology of the crystals in respect of growth steps, slip lines/bands and etch pits has been examined by scanning electron microscopy (SEM). A quantit
