✦ Synopsis

Recently, the theory of anisotropic composition fluctuations in ordered diblock copolymer phases has._?een developed by Shi and co-workers [2-4,5--,6--) and independently by Qi and Wang [7,8,. This review discusses these developments, as well as related theoretical work [10--,11-15,16--,17-19,20-) and recent experimental results by I Iajduk et al. [21--,22 0,23). Reference is also made to the theoretical [24-28,29-,30-32) and experimental [33-36,37-) work on binary blends of diblock copolymers and diblock/hornopolyrncrs, and to novel processing techniques using block copolymers [35,36,37-,381.
