An important class of radiometric degradations we are faced with often in practice is image blurring. In this paper, special attention is paid to the recognition of the blurred image by complex moment invariant. Some important rules of complex moments for the blurred image are presented and proofed.

In this paper, the design of composite filters from range images using the simulated annealing technique for robust face recognition is discussed. Due to the use of range images as the training set for the synthesis of composite filters, besides the out-of-plane rotation in¨ariance, the designed com
