The vertical v.knce ionization potentials of HCP and FCP are calculated by many-body methods based upon the Green's function theory. ## Abstract The method of double time Green's functions is used to show that two almost magnetic impurities in a non‐magnetic conductor could under certain circumstances stimulate one another to become magnetic. Although the theory allows the formation of both parallel and antiparallel moments on t
