โฆ Synopsis
Abstract
Segmented block copolymers comprised of flexible PEO segments and monodisperse crystallizable bisestertetraamide segments have been synthesized. The influence of the terephthalic units in the soft phase on the transitions and the thermal mechanical and elastic properties are studied. The presence of terephthalic units in the copolymer increases the glass transition temperature of the soft phase by โ5โยฐC. The lowโtemperature flexibility of the copolymers is improved because of the lower crystallinity and melting temperature of PEO. With the use of terephthalicโextended PEO segments, segmented block copolymers with low moduli (G'โ<โ15 MPa) and good elastic properties could be obtained.

## Abstract This article discusses the rate of water vapor transmission (WVT) through monolithic films of segmented block copolymers based on poly(ethylene oxide) (PEO) and monodisperse crystallisable tetraโamide segments. The polyether phase consisted of hydrophilic PEO or mixtures of PEO and hydr
Ethylene oxide-ethylene terephthalate segmented copolymers (EOET) with long PEO segment or high PET content have showed an obvious compositional heterogeneity. The EOET copolymers with compositional heterogeneity could be separated into soluble and insoluble fractions by extraction with chloroform.
A series of ethylene oxide-ethylene terephthalate segmented copolymers (EOET) with different long soft segments and different hard-segment contents were synthesized. The thermally stimulated shape-memory behavior of EOET segmented copolymer is characterized by the maximum recovery (R f ), the recove
## Abstract A new route of synthesis of block copolymers was investigated. It involves the polymerization of a sideโchain liquidโcrystalline acrylate and poly(propylene glycol), modified by an esterification reaction with mercaptoacetic acid used as macrotransfer agent, in the presence of 2,2โฒโazoi
