โฆ Synopsis
Seamless and invisible cryptographic signing -Tripwire for UNIX will employ cryptographic signing technology. Signing the Tripwire database and policy files maintains the integrity of these critical files, preventing unauthorized changes and eliminating the need for removable media. Tripwire for UNIX is fully Year 2000 compliant. Enhanced policy language -The Tripwire policy language has been expanded to include more flexibility in defining rules, as well as the ability to prioritize violations based upon their criticality. E-mail reporting -Tripwire for UNIX sends reports via E-mail to the appropriate systems administrator(s) based upon individual rule violations.
Tripwire
for UNIX is easy to maintain and deploy since the installer allows 'one command' deployment, contains ready-torun configuration files, and it is easy to update the Tripwire database.
