## Abstract It is known that Nornarwedine‐type molecules can be converted into crinine‐type compounds by a reverse Michael‐ / Michael addition. Narwedine and bromonarwedine yield, as confirmed by X‐ray structure determination, the known seco‐powellaminone as well as the novel seco‐isopowellaminone.
