The authors describe a new method of identifying experts in a specific domain using New Information and Communication Technologies (NICT). This method uses the technology of certain intelligent agents capable of running through a set of Web pages, starting from an initial page and collecting the e-mail addresses indicated therein. The authors explain the method they used to set up a contacts database from these elements.
