We discuss recent results from RHIC. Issues of energy loss and partonic collectivity from Au + Au collisions at β s N N = 200 GeV are the focus of this paper. We propose a path toward the understanding of the partonic equation of state in high energy nuclear collisions.

While strong attenuation of single particle production and particle correlations has provided convincing evidence for large parton energy loss in the QGP, its application to jet tomography has inherent limitations due to the inclusive nature of the measurements. Generalization of this suppression to
A parton-hadron cascade model which is the extension of hadronic cascade model incorporating hard partonic scattering based on HIJING is presented to describe the spacetime evolution of parton/hadron system produced by ultra-relativistic nuclear collisions. Hadron yield, baryon stopping and transver
We report on a search for metastable positively and negatively charged states of strange quark matter in Au +Pb reactions at 11.6 A GeV/c in experiment E864. We have sampled approximately six billion 10% most central Au + Pb interactions and have observed no strangelet states (baryon number A < 100
