✦ Synopsis

We have searched for the pressure drops which are a necessary consequence of the dissipation attendant textural motion in 3He-A when uniform bulk superflow exceeds a critical value. We find no reliable pressure signature at a level significantly smaller than expected theoretically. We have modified our sensitive differential pressure gauge by replacing the plastic diaphragm with an extremely thin aluminum film, increasing the resolution by two orders of magnitude. Further investigations are underway.
