✦ Synopsis

This patent presents an industrial elastomer bellows mechanical seal that has the pressed metal drive components designed to improve resistance to wear. A particular feature is that the drive area of the mating pressed metal parts is greater than the thickness of the components. The arrangement can be configured as either a single or back to back double seal.
