✦ Synopsis

This patent describes an isolation damper for use in air delivery trunking. The damper -which may be elliptical -is provided with a seal to provide an air-tight cutoff. It can be used to shut off airflow to prevent circulation of hazardous contaminants in clean environments.

A seal arrangement for connecting the body components of a plastic chemical valve is described. An H-section plastic seal fits to mating grooves in the two parts of the valve body.
