โœฆ Synopsis


A hydrogenated nitrile material for lip seal applications is described. It has a bound acrylonitrile of 40-48 wt% and an iodine value greater than 10%. The carbon black has a particle diameter of 60-100 nm and a white carbon with a specific surface area of 55 m 2 /g or less is used. The mixture includes 15-25 pphr of black and 45-55 pphr of the white carbon. The benefits claimed include; good compression permanent set and fluorocarbon foaming resistance, excellent gas shielding properties and wear resistance.
