โœฆ Synopsis

SCIENTIFIC REALISM ABOUT SOME CHEMICAL ENTITIES

Pawe[ Zeidler and Danuta Sobczyfiska use organic chemistry to pose important questions about scientific realism. Their new examples matter to someone who, like myself, is a scientific realist about entities, while remaining somewhat skeptical about scientific realism for high -level theories. But before discussing the new examples, I must clarify a few points of terminology. The first four short section below are brief reminders to avoid misunderstanding. Sections 5 and 6 have the same headings, and the same topics, as sections 5 and 6 in the essay by Zeidler and Sobczyfiska.
