✦ Synopsis

High precision measurements of the temperature dependent scattering rates have been made in Cd down to 200 mK. The data show the presence of contributions from electron-phonon scattering superimposed to a term linear in T2. The coefficient of the latter is of the right order of magnitude to be attributed to electronelectron scattering for electrons on the lens of the Fermi surface, but is a factor 10 larger for some orbits on the first and second bands.
