โœฆ Synopsis


The exterior scattering problem of electromagnetic waves from spheroidal objects or particles is considered. The particles are assumed to be composed of electrically dissimilar materials. This necessitates the modelling of the particle, for the exterior scattering problem, in terms of an inhomogeneous surface impedance. In this manner, the Leontovich boundary condition and the Moments method are invoked, to provide the solution to the scattering problem.
