## Abstract A computerised library search system for ^13^C NMR data is described. Given the spectral data of an unknown compound, the system will retrieve from the library those reference compounds exhibiting similar spectra. For comparison the spectral data are converted into a binary code, design

Currently the process used by designers to specify the features of structural adhesive joints consists of writing explanatory notes on the assembly plans. Thus, there is no graphic standard for these joints that allows us synthesise the technical information on the plans, in contrast to what happens
Stresses and stiffnesses of spot welded box section beams subjected to bending moments was studied analytically. Influence of spot-welded spaces on the stress distributions and the bending rigidities were investigated. The analytical results were consistent with the results of FEM and experiments.
