✦ Synopsis

A rare case of malignant fibrous histiocytoma of the retroperitoneum with scalp metastases as the initial presentation is described. The scalp lesions were mistaken for atypical schwannomas, however subsequent investigation revealed a large retroperitoneal tumor and multiple hepatic and pulmonary metastases.
