β¦ Synopsis
This work describes the utilization of a multi-channel microfluidic module on a Surface Acoustic Wave (SAW) sensor chip in order to achieve multi-analyte detection. The design and fabrication issues of the microfluidics-on-SAW (''lF-on-SAW") setup are presented as well as the evaluation of the sensitivity of the system during glycerol and protein loading. In its current configuration, lF-on-SAW can host up to eight different analytes for detection on the dual-device chip, crossed by four parallel microchannels.
