Tamara Taylor was a highly successful lobbyist in Washington, for one of the most powerful corporate conglomerates in the world. But after a successful meeting where she yet again, convinces government officials to side with her, she finds herself attacked, kidnapped and thrown in the back of a van. Her captors keep her in a dark basement, refuse to speak to her more than necessary, and won't tell her why she has been taken. Dan is not your typical activist, but after seeing so many innocent lives ruined, he could no longer stand idly by. He justified his actions as a means to an end, but that definitely doesn't make things easier, especially when his attraction to Tamara is undeniable. Thing aren't always the way they seem, and love flourishes in the most unusual of situations. Lies, deceit, betrayal and forgiveness all play a part in Tamara's journey to both freedom and true love.
