Multiphonon relaxation rates are calculated for all levels of the 4f" configuration ofTm3+ incorporated in phosphate. borate, germanatc and tellurite glasses. The level fluorescence lifetimes arc derived from these rates and from previously calculated radiative transition probabilities.
