Teil III ist den zukünftigen Satellitensystemen für breitbandige Kommunikation (Internet, Multimedia) gewidmet und beleuchtet die satellitenspezifischen Aspekte dieser Kommunikation, insbesondere auf der Basis von ATM und TCP/IP. Ein umfangreicher Überblick über operationelle und geplante Satellitensysteme rundet das Buch ab.
