Abstract
Sambucinol (2) and sambucoin (4), two C~15~‐trichothecenes, have been isolated from cultures of Fusarium sambucinum. The structures were deduced from spectroscopic data and by X‐ray diffractoin. A hypothetical biogenetic pathway is proposed.
