โฆ Synopsis
Samantha Smart, an almost twelve-year-old girl from Park Slope, Brooklyn, finds herself enmeshed in unexpected adventures when she becomes drawn into events surrounding an ancient Mayan time machine discovered by her mother's co-worker, Professor Smythe. The present world she knows has been drastically changed to the point that all of New York City is half-underwater, and it's up to Samantha to put things right. Along with The Professor and her faithful Boston terrier Polly, she recruits a group of friends who come to be known as "Alpha Team" to help them as they travel back in time to try to correct anomalies caused by earlier accidents on the professor's part. In the process, they learn that it's not just the accident-prone Professor's slip-ups they have to fix, but that there are also dark and sinster forces plotting against them - forces that also have time-traveling ability, and who would prefer if the world were even further underwater.
