Using specular neutron reflectivity, we have measured the structure of tethered polymer layers immersed in a solution of mobile chains of the same chemical composition. The tethered polymer layer is a stable Langmuir film of a diblock copolymer spread on the air-liquid interface of a selective solve

β¦ Synopsis
Abstract
Although the development of salinization in European soils and waters is less of a problem than in Asia, Africa and Australia, The impact in Europe is likely to be worse because of the much greater interference with stored pollutants. Three types of salinization are discussed here: salinization caused by faulty irrigation, increased evapotranspiration and rises in seaβlevel. the potential activation of the chemical time bombs due to climatic changes and the development of the coβtolerance of plants to metal pollution and increased salinity is considered.

The major strategy used to prevent the discharge of highly saline groundwater to the River Murray in southeastern Australia is groundwater interception and disposal. The basic design principle assumes that the extraction of groundwater from an aquifer hydraulically connected to the river, using a li
## Abstract Groundwater salinization has become a crucial environmental problem worldwide and is considered the most widespread form of groundwater contamination in the coastal zone. In this study, a hydrochemical investigation was conducted in the eastern coastal shallow aquifer of Laizhou Bay to
