โœฆ Synopsis

Resistance as high as that conferred by B2B 6 to bacterial blight of cotton was conferred by the combination BzB 9. B4B 6 and BIB 9 also conferred very strong resistance. From the cross B6 ร— Bherb.L high resistance was obtained but there was evidence to suggest that a third major gene was present.
