## Abstract ## Background The acute toxicity of intraoperative radiation therapy (IORT) delivered as an “early boost” after tumor resection in patients with locally advanced head and neck cancer was evaluated. ## Methods Twenty‐five patients were enrolled in the study. All patients underwent sur
