Rustic Roads is a suspenseful story about Susan Jessup who travels to a small rural community for a week long vacation in the hopes to put her life back together after a failed relationship. Susan’s mother calls her with concern about Susan’s stepsister who was on a bike tour of Rustic Roads around the state and headed for their aunts summer home on Half Moon Lake. Susan’s decides to go up to Half Moon Lake as she has nothing better to do and it would give her time to decide what to do with the rest of her life.

Susan is swept up into the lives of the local town people and finds herself strongly attracted to a local man who could possibly be involved in her sister’s disappearance along with the murder of his own sister. In her quest to uncover who the serial killer is, she puts her own life in jeopardy.

To give credit to the the author, she told a good story...one that kept my attention to the end. And, she kept me guessing the final outcome until the last few chapters.
I plan to try reading another of her books.

I guess one of the biggest mistakes I've made, as a writer is that I don't write to a certain niche in the marketplace. I write to entertain. I challenge myself to write in different genres, maybe I'm a failure as a writer and I'll never sell a million copies, but if I've entertained just a few of you then I consider myself a success. For me, I'm not in it for the money. I could write romance, follow the formula and turn out one book a month in that genre putting my heroine in peril who gets saved by my wealth hero and they live happily ever after. I couldn't waste my time doing that just to earn a quick buck. I get my ideas from a dream I had, a scene I once saw in a movie, or in the case of my book Tetris a disk I got from a friend that had a spreadsheet embedded in it. It starts with that little bit of information and I start asking myself 'What if?" and from there my mind goes in overdrive and a story emerges.

Rustic Roads is a thrilling suspense story about murder and mayhem, with romantic action abound.
