Russia: Empils -zinc oxide ZAO Empils (of Rostov-on-Don) reported zinc oxide production at 14,000 tonnes for full-year 2007, compared against 13,100 tonnes for 2006 and 17,000 tonnes for 2005. The company also reported total paint production at 75,000 tonnes in 2006 and at 76,000 tonnes last year. These figures include contributions from the Odessa (Ukraine) factory, as well as from the main Rostov site.
