✦ Synopsis


Trauma (automobile accident) produced rupture of the anterior spinal ligament in the thoracic area with concomitant anterior separation of the adjacent vertebrae in each of two men who had rheumatoid spondylitis. This injury is unusual. The pain due to it complicated medical management of other disorders and injuries. Trauma (accidente automobilari) produceva un ruptura del ligament0 anterospinal in le area thoracic con concomitante separation anterior del adjacente vertebras in duo masculos qui habeva spondylitis rheumatoide. Iste vulneration es inusual. Le dolores causate per ill0 rendeva plus complicate le tractamento medical de altere disordines e vulnerationes.

HEUMATOID SPONDYLITIS is responsible for calcification of the R anterior spinal ligament. Rupture of this calcified ligament in the thoracic area has not previously been reported.
