✦ Synopsis
An existing method, developed in our laboratory, has been further improved for the large scale routine production of [mI]mlBG. Losses of 1231 during production have been decreased from 16% to <3% and labelling efficiencies of >98% are now consistently obtained. A sensitive HPLC quality control method for p23I]mlBG, based on reversephase ion-pair chromatography, has also been developed.
