✦ Synopsis

Creatinine was determined spectrophotometrically by flow-injection analysis with use of the Jaffk reaction. The detection limit was 3 pg ml-' and the relative standard deviation (n = 10) was 0.6% for 50 pg ml-' of creatinine. The sample throughput was 102 h-l. Creatinine in newborn baby urine can be assayed sensitively and rapidly.
