โœฆ Synopsis

The Fourlcr-transformed frequency spectrum of adsorbed methane IS compared with that of lfqmd methane. The correlation function and second moment for adsorbed methane differs from that of liquid methane and agrees wrth a model iiz which the molecule rotates about a smgle axis perpendtcular to the surtace. thus confiimmg the results of Sheppard and Yates
