New visible emission systems have been observed from the helium afterglow reaction of SnH 4. On the basis of the rotational analysis, they were interpreted as the a3IIo+-X 1E+ and a3IIi-X 1E+ subsystems of SnH +. Spectroscopic constants have been obtained for the a3IIo + and X 1Z+ states.

1. Irltroduction
The emlsston spectra of the group IV monohydride ions have been detected m electncdncharge and electron-impact sources. So far, the following emission systems have been identified: CH+ @'II-X'C+, B'LA'K b3C--a3il) [I.?] and SIP (A'fl-X'Z') [3,4]. From high-resolulon ro-
