✦ Synopsis

A nuclear demagnetization cryostat, capable of producing submillikelvin temperatures during rotational motion, was constructed. The apparatus has been used for NMR experiments on superfluid He 3 at angular velocities up to 1.5 rad s -~. The essential technical details and the operation of the cryostat are described.
