Peter was never one for fairy tales or fate...

Peter:

Its more than a relief to find a job just one month after graduating.

And in a field that uses my major, no less!

Still, couldve done without the dragons.

Especially Gabriel Karros, an old drake who wont leave me alone.

Doesnt exactly help that hes a coworker, to boot.

I keep trying to tell him that Im not like him.

That Im not a dragon.

But he just smiles and says that doesnt matter.

Gabriel:

Its been six hundred years since Ive met another dragon.

Well, another with dragon blood, I should say.

After all, the boy cant even fly.

Says we cant be together because he isnt like me.

Boy doesnt even know that hes a descendant.

But thats all right.

Perfectly fine.

Because Ill show him.

Be it through the hum of his blood or the drake I put in his belly.

Ill prove to him that were meant to be.

As only two dragons can be.
