✦ Synopsis

authors conclude that medical professionals lack basic skills in the use of inhaling devices, especially in the newer technology products, and that this deficiency is likely the result of little or no formal training. With studies showing as many as 89% of patients having poor technique when using inhalers, the article makes obvious the need for better training of medical professionals in the use of inhaler devices.
