Abstract
A systematic longβterm study was made on the possible involvement of humidity in the reproduction of male spotted munia. Both high humidity (90 Β± 2%) and continuous illumination (LL) exhibited precocious gonadal development, indicating positive involvement of these 2 factors in the reproduction of this bird. Delay in testicular regression by 2 months in high humidity treated birds suggests a greater role for humidity than photoperiod. Β© 1992 WileyβLiss, Inc.

## Abstract The male mongoose, __Herpestes auropunctatus__, displays a distinct seasonal reproductive rhythm in environments which show minimal changes in daylength. This investigation was designed to evaluate whether the reproductive system of the male mongoose was responsive to photoperiodic mani
The objective of the present investigation was to study by scanning electron microscopy the epithelial surface structures of different segments of the male genital tract (ductuli efferentes, proximal and distal epididymes, and vas deferens) during highest (July) and lowest (January) activity in the
This study tested the hypothesis that T3 (triiodothyronine) is the tissue-active "seasonality" hormone by determining whether T3 could mimic T4 (thyroxine) and program photostimulated thyroidectomized (THX) male American tree sparrows (Spizella arborea) for three components of seasonality (i.e., ful
