## Abstract Proliferation of endothelial cells (ECs) is a cellular step of particular importance for implanted cardiovascular biomaterials. Heparin and some synthetic water‐soluble non‐anticoagulant polysaccharides derived from dextran and bearing anionic carboxymethyl and hydrophobic benzylamine g
