## Abstract ## Background Cerebral aging is a complex and heterogeneous process that is associated with a high degree of inter‐individual variability. Structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) can be used to identify and quantify non‐disease‐related aging of the cerebral white matter. ## Method
