This 'form-in-place' gasketing material can be used in virtually any type of sealing application, including large, complex or damaged flanges and fragile equipment such as glass-lined vessels. Made from expanded polytetrafluoroethylene, it resists creep, remains stable under temperatures up to 315°C, and seals internal pressures up to about 21 MPa (3000 psig) -all while maintaining its high tensile strength.
