Over the last century, the forces of darkness have been gathering strength. Ancient terrors are clawing at the veil between worlds, threatening to return. Who will rise to stand against this evil?

Our story follows a young warrior from Asgard named Brynhildr. After a vicious attack on her village, she finds herself alone at the age of four. A mysterious old woman takes her in and trains her in the ways of Asgard's mythical guardians, known as the Valkyries. The old wman speaks of a great evil that will soon destroy the three lands.

Brynhildr's training is cut short however, and she again finds herself alone. Her journey takes us from the snowy mountains of Asgard, through the barren Great Desert, the jungles of the Southern Wilds and the rolling hills and forests of Siera. After many years, all she wants is to return to Asgard and live a peaceful life. This all changes when the old woman's prophecies start coming true. Brynhildr realizes it 's up to her to save the people of Eteria.

Brynhildr recruits a small band of misfits to join her on the quest; a brave knight with a dark past, a pint sized Halfling with hidden talents, a battle-axe wielding giant and a mysterious archer from the Badlands.
