✦ Synopsis
The airborne radiometric survey data recorded in the study area was used to delineate boundaries of rock units and aims at the establishment of the natural background radioactivity levels of the surficial rock types and soils through the application of the statistical methods of analysis. Aeroradiometric trend analysis applying Linsser's technique [Linsser H. (1967) Geophys. Pros. V 57, 480-5151 and also, the tectonic trends expressing the surface faults taken from the landsat map (1980) were analysed.
