Rock Salt in British Columbia.
,~NON. (Oil, P&t arzd Llr~~g Rep., May 19, IgI3.)-An extensive bed of rock salt has been discovered on the Skeena River, about 45 m,iles from Prince Rupert. Five holes have been drilled, about a mile apart, and salt has been struck in every case at depths varying from 50 to 250 feet. About 8 tons of salt have been raised.
The product is absolutely pure and of the best quality.
