✦ Synopsis

The concept of monotone fuzzy implication is introduced, and the necessary and sufficient conditions of the homomorphic fuzzy modus ponens and the homomorphic fuzzy modus tollens are made clear for general fuzzy implications which include nonnormd and discrete fuzzy sets. Then, we investigate the n-ary fuzzy inference schema that deduce the reasonable consequences with respect to the homomorphism criteria.

We first review briefly some basic approaches to robust inference and discuss the role and the place of some key concepts (influence function, breakdown point, robustness versus efficiency, etc.). We then discuss in some detail recent results on robust testing in general multivariate parametric mode
